Nobody in this market has done more with clinics, outside medical management companies, or pharmacy solutions than Diversified has; vendors come to this market explicitly looking to partner with us because of our reputation.
We believe that it is our responsibility, as an effective advocate for our clients, to maintain healthy relationships at the highest levels with the carriers in our market. Diversified is well known throughout upper management at SelectHealth, UHC, Regence, and Aetna, and each would consider us strong but fair. In turn, we expect them to be honest with our clients in their dealings and hold them accountable when they are not.
Ancillary carriers respect our knowledge of their products. UNUM, Hartford, Lincoln, Cigna, and Principal will all report that we go to great lengths to be sure Diversified employees understand the inner-workings of their products.
While we have affiliations with many carriers, Diversified is carrier independent. We have consultants that sit on the Advisory boards for UnitedHealthcare, Regence, SelectHealth, and Cigna. We understand that our clients are our number one priority and that having good relationships with carriers is a direct benefit to our clients. We value both.
When necessary, Diversified can reach out to upper management within a carrier organization when we need something addressed urgently or drastic change is required. Due to the mutual respect of our relationships, carriers know that we tap them only when necessary and that we don’t circumvent their team at every turn.
Data directs everything we do. The in-depth data analysis that Diversified provides to our clients guides us on knowing what type of claims, and the severity of the claims, are occurring on every benefit, giving us the leverage to negotiate with carriers on behalf of our clients.
